Yahoo toolbar appears to crash both IE 6 %26amp; 7. This is mentioned in many forums. Microsoft says that Yahoo has toolbar updates that resolve the problem, yet the newest updates of the toolbar still crash both IE 6 %26amp; 7.
Yahoo doesn't appear to respond to questions about this nor identifies a solution. Has anyone confirmed that toolbar does indeed crash IE and has anyone found a solution or a location where Yahoo directly addresses the problem?

Ive got this problem as well. I got so angry with the situation i ended up personally customising my new IE by disabling and then removing the Yahoo Toolbar from "add/remove" programs. Go and take it out. It wont affect the way IE works. Look for "Yahoo Toolbar for Internet Explorer".
The toolbar also attracts spyware and since its been gone my spyware sweeps have lessened.
